Norway’s dramatic fjords, towering mountains and spectacular waterfalls provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable experience for Arvia’s crew this September.
During a two-week visit to Norway, crew members had countless opportunities to step ashore, explore the local area and make the most of some of the country’s most breathtaking landscapes. Whether cycling around scenic ports, heading out for a run or joining organised hikes, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Exploring Norway beyond the ship
One of the highlights of the itinerary was the chance for crew to experience Norway’s natural beauty first-hand.
Crew Welfare Officer Ana organised several hikes throughout the visit, giving colleagues the opportunity to explore popular local landmarks and enjoy time outdoors. In Olden, crew members visited a stunning viewpoint and a picturesque waterfall, while another group travelled to Skjolden to hike to a spectacular waterfall surrounded by dramatic scenery.
These experiences allowed crew to switch off, recharge and enjoy destinations that many guests travel across the world to see.
